@NornIronPride carter could have reached that level it he hadnt of injured himself in 2011. If he had of played, the tournment would have been more one-sided.

@NornIronPride Bit unfair on Carter and on Wilkinson's 2003 team mates there, I think. Wilkinson was amazing obviously but he was playing behind a completely ridiculous pack and had guys like Jason Robinson and Will Greenwood outside him. Carter would have done just as well in my opinion.

All this talk about Carter being the best atm I agree with but during 03 Wilkinson was playing like no other flyhalf has , he essential won the rugby world cup for england , Carter imo will never reach that level
