I had the chance to meet Travis before the show and talk and learn a great deal from him. He let me go back stage and redord him during the set. He starts playing @ 2:45. The track playing in the back is the loop from "Disconnected" played at the end of the song

PS- Yes, his crash cymbal is cracked at the bell!

If anyone is interested his drum specs are:
Truth drums- 20×20, 12×8, 16×13
black satin w/ natural center stripe, flat black hardware, straight lugs, diecast hoops
14×7 stainless steal snare with flat black powder coat on shell and hardware, diecast hoops, long tube lugs

Enjoy!

This footage is of Travis Orbin just before SEA performs at the chian reaction on 4-9-10

  • i bet he is a really nice guy

  • @dannyss29 He is! I just met up with him again earlier today while he's on tour, nothing but gracious!

  • hey dude, anything you can tell me about the pedal the guitarist is using to get that glitchy effect at 1.35?

  • @odessaguitarist i remember seeing his pedal board but don't remember seeing the exact pedal he used. I assume its some kind of delay

  • everybody on stage is such a beast, why doesnt elliot sing lead vocals and play bass, fuck a new frontman

  • @Fingertap2002 gotta use your thumb

  • @facedspaced You can't fit into jeans like that, huh? No need to hate on the more fortunate.

  • its a delay pedal set on loop. its just a quick hit to set a fast loop and then a hit to turn it off

  • lol nice jeans bassist.... uses a pick and plays at his knees? fail.

  • is the crash on his right broken? sounds and looks it, awesome drummer though, hes my hero!!

  • @usemysteryboards yeah its deffly a delay. i think maybe a boss dd-6

  • @Fingertap2002 its not impossible. pick playing actually inhibits your sweeping range because you arnt able to tap multiple notes after the actual sweep
