Thanks for putting these quartets up. They've been long time favourites (played by the 'Janacek' quartet in 1972) so it's nice to see them getting some exposure. Amazing the way Janacek cuts out the ears and goes straight to the heart.
This has always been my favorite movement of my favorite instrument work by Janacek but I've only ever heard one version of it. This is so much different. The version I have sounds very somber at the beginning and this one feels like a carefree dance. It's so interesting hearing a different take on something like this.
