@aguafinatv Um. do you actually know anything about archaeology? These aren't fragile crumbling structures. Yes, they are old and 'delicate' in terms of comparison to, say, more modern monuments (i.e. Plaza Nacional or something else) but they are not 'fragile'. Do you know how we study the treasures of the temples/pyramids? We excavate. Which, in this case, means climbing around on top and inside.

Hola amigo soy mexicana y orgullosisima de mis raices, pero no veo q' halla necesidad de hacer gran alarde con lo de 2012, ya q' solamente es la ultima fecha q' los Mayas lograron grabar en el calendario, no porque sea una fecha de destruccion y renacimiento sino porque solo fue la ultima q' se grabo y ya.

(Author) and
David Freidel (Author)
The book also shows how the Mayan glyphs and counting systems work. Again, thanks for the video and greetings from Brazil.

excellent details of the architectural flourishes in these temples. it shows how much they appreciated aesthetic beauty in their construction. a lot of love was and advanced understandings were put into the buildings. Thank you from Miami!
