@aussiepride807 Funny enough, even though the Chinese could communicate with Rudd, my research showed that many Chinese politicians preferred Howard as they were confused by Rudd. A lot of Australians were also confused by Rudd. For such a smart person, some of his communication and choice of words was bizarre. So even though he could speak the same language he was still confusing. Although, credit to Rudd for speaking Mandarin, I hope I can speak it that well one day.

some people are hating on rudd because he speaks Chinese, so its unacceptable that our prime minister is smart enough to speak fluent manderin ???, some people are suggesting (not really on this video but others about kevin rudd) that because he speaks manderin there is some kind of plan for the chinese to colonise Australia, it seems to me your just gealous that your not smart enough to learn another language or that you some how think strong relationships between countries is a bad thing.
