Nice one. Does the tune have a name and do you know who wrote it please? I have a 25 year old Erica that is just as clackety. The pads dry out and produce that noise especially on the bass side.

I started playing a Honer Erica a year ago - it aint as clackety as that one yet though! How long have you been playing? your northwest tune on the green and red box is awe inspiring!! The left hand is so amazing! got any tips?

I like the clacketty sound and it sounded particularly noisy in my old flat where this was recorded, but fine played in and outside of pubs! I've played about 15 years and it took me ages to get the bass side going but it becomes automatic after a while. So persevere! I sometimes don't even play the bass side if I'm with a load of other melodeon players.
