This flight was Delayed 3 days. Great Thanks to Qantas for doing all they can and putting us up in a 5 star hotel till the flight was ready. On the other hand my connecting flight operated by BA was another matter. When I arrived in London I found that the flight i was due on had been over booked and I had been took off it until a flight 6 hours later. When the time had come to board it was delayed another 2 hours,. I finally took off in a horrible, cramped jet2 737 that was being used by BA. The cabin crew did not have a clue what they were doing, we didnt even get a drink or anything to eat. The seats didn't recline and they had no padding. Very disappointed in British Airways.

  • Haven't worked out why so many Aussies go to the UK and live in that cold, expensive place? Qantas are a great Airline but are slowly being over run by the likes of Etihad / Emirates. As for flights to the USA I cannot understand why Qantas did not get the 777. Its such a brilliant aircraft to fly on. V Australia are the pick for me going there. Good Vidio but.... love the 747 and those big rollers

  • @signature1990 They come over here for the culture, and a change of scene. Just like we go over there for a nice change of scene and warm weather!

  • Nive vid mate. Thats a shame about BA. I flew them and QANTAS on a round the world trip this year and they were both fantastic, albiet a liitle cramped in the BA 747's. I guess it's the luck of the draw sometimes.

  • @Toffa1985 Yeah suppose, I'm being a bit hypocritical. It's the cabin staff on the last leg of the route that were annoying me. Most of us had spent days and some weeks in airports. we were just wanting to get home. They were shouting, throwing things around in the galley, play fighting. It was like they'd be took out of school for the day to be an flight attendant. Sorry for the rant haha.

  • wow, gotta love air travel. At least you made it to your destination. Qantas is a good airline, never flown on BA before but that is horrible what they did. Screw what others say, if they were in your situation, they wouldn't be as "appreciative" as they say you should've been. great video mate!

  • @ERAUPRCWA Thanks, your comment means a lot mate

  • Nice video, I was stuck in Iraq for 11 weeks. Not because of the aeroplanes, but because I was captured.

  • @planeboy737 Well, actually BA were using the European A320's because of the delays, they DO have business..We were booked on it only to find out we have been took off? its was booked for almost 50 weeks..And what do you think i did for the first 32 hours in Singapore? Slept on the floor....we were moved flight 5 times all together. If you were in my situation your would not be calling me ungrateful.

  • fuk ba

  • @signature1990 Could be a number of reasons for that though. Was it flying anywhere else after Singapore? It could have been due to low season, a bad time for that flight or a repositional flight for the aircraft.

  • @N330AA yeah....sort of correct. The Qantas 380 is not at capacity a fair bit of the time. The last news report of a Qantas 380 flying from Singapore that diverted to Adelaide on its way to Melbourne due low fuel had 249 people on board. That is idiotic.

  • @SonicGeneration absolutely. Thanks to the idiot unions over the years who demanded outrageous pay claims and got them. Now we have essentially priced ourself out of the travel market.

  • Because Australia is even more expensive.

  • @signature1990 There are few routes in the Qantas network that are truly suited to the 777. Asia can be handled by an A330 more efficiently than a 777. Beyond Asia you only have places like LHR and LAX which are routes of enormous capacity and require aircraft like the 747 and A380.

As for why people come to the UK. London is a huge money spinner if you have the skills.

  • lol

  • this looks like an amasing simulator

  • 6:40 You can see Windsor Castle.
