I have this exact same safe and hitting it on top doesn't release the lock as shown in the video. Now I could see how using method 2 could be possible. This is an inexpensive safe, not Fort Knox. Of course it can be breached, anything with a lock can be picked. It's a $30 safe that serves it purpose of keeping people out of your stuff stored away. If somebody wants into something bad enough they will find a way, but banging it on top while turning the knob doesn't work.
