Manno Sanon, the Haitian soccer legend/Superstar scored the first goal of the match against Italy in the FIFA Soccer World Cup 1974. Haiti shocked the world. The Italian goal keeper Dino Zoff was believed to be unbeatable until Manno Sanon of Haiti penetrated Zoff's nets which had remained virgin from 1972 to June 15, 1974. The whole soccer world was shocked and at a stand still. The Haitian team surpassed all expectations. The match was played at the OlympiaStadion in Munich, West Germany in June 15, 1974. There were 51,100 spectators. The match ended 3-1, Italy won.
