  • With your kind permission, I will post this video link to a YAHOO! group i moderate: "constequip"

  • @pylgrym Thanks thats ok..

  • Looks like a Crawford plough, these were very well made implements and once you got used to keeping the tail wheel out of the dyke when turning could do a good job

  • I dont know anything about that, Im just a City Boy... ha ha. Thanks for the info though, hope you enjoyed the video. :-)

  • thats an unusual D4D wayne ! someone has put a Turbo on it after it was purchased because Cat did not start turbocharging them until the D4E came out

We had a D4D from new in 1970 and in 71 my father bought the relevant parts new from Cat to make the Engine effectively a 955 track loader engine power up from 75 to 120 hp Neither Cat or the dealers wanted to have anything to do with the project needless to say - made the D4 into a proper tractor tho - great Video Wayne!

  • Thanks for the info, very interesting. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching. PS. Im Paul not wayne. :-)

  • i am considering buying a d4 and pulling our taylor way disk with it the d4 will need a remote though

  • Thanks Wayne, I have a varied interest in most things mechanical, basically whatever catches my eye. I try to make videos that will suit all tastes, but the underlying theme will always be stuff that I generally like... I believe that sometimes it doesn't matter what the subject is so long as you try to make the best job of filming it as possible... I just imagine Im the viewer...

  • excellent Paul

    real nice video

  • Think you should like the next uploaded video... :-))
