Toyota has a long history of trying to hide problems with their cars, such as the toyota sludge.
IMPORTANT: Go to http://jacksonfosterlaw.com and click on "Toyota Gel Litigation" (upper right corner of home page) to fill out a Toyota owner questionnaire. Thousands of vehicle owners are upset with Toyota even though TMC implemented its "Customer Support Program for Engine Oil Gelation" in April 2002. Despite this program, a class action lawsuit resulted against the company for its handling of this matter. Owners complain that they did not receive the glovebox notice which Toyota said it mailed out. Many Toyota owners say that Toyota dealerships did not tell them about the sludge program. A significant number of owners claim that Toyota did not honor the CSP in their cases even when they qualified for it.
