Farewell Dance Solo (to 'The Balcony Scene' by Pierce the Veil)

This is a dance solo I choreographed as my farewell solo, meaning that I'm leaving my dance academy and this is my 'good-bye'. I danced to the song 'The Balcony Scene' by Pierce the Veil because I adore the lyric 'have you ever really danced on the edge', which is about taking risks and that is what I'm doing. I'm taking the risk by leaving my home to go to university in a town I've been to once. And by going to university, I'm leaving my dance academy (which I've been at for about 12 years). I plan on getting the lyric 'have you ever really danced on the edge' tattooed on my foot.

The dancing would have been a lot better, I'm not usually this bad, but I was trying not to cry the whole time By the end of the dance, I just started to walk off crying.

Love you guys and I'm going to miss dancing with you!

I think it's so amazing that you chose 'The Balcony Scene'. That's one of my favorite songs by Pierce the Veil (my favorite band) if not my favorite.

They mean so much to me, as does that song.

It's so cool to see the emotion in your dance, from how you feel related to the song.

You're an amazing dancer, and I loved this. I kind of wanted to cry too..It was amazing.

Ps- I was thinking of getting 'You are my getaway tattooed on my chest/neck, the lyrics from Yeah Boy and Doll Face.) ;D
