Even if you don't believe there was a holocaust (in which case my extended family is suspiciously *small*), you're basically making a statement you would like to see them gassed anyway. @fredjustsucks, it is true that most vikings were caucasian (with the exception of Idris Elba, but who among us ca know the true form of the gods?). I have learned the title is better translated as "the Pure Missionary" or something like that...

Great authentic film... Hard to depict such gritty realism these days. The only other recent one I liked was Valhalla Rising-very well done.

YES! All the Nordic languages origins in Norse (accept Finnish, who is a Slavic language) however, the Icelandic language, unlike the rest, have been more or less isolated just like the language at the feroe islands, wich sounds quite similar. ( the Icelanders origin mostly from banished vikings) swedish, danish, and norwegian, are as like, as French, and spanish. icelandic is as similar as german and dutch. ;)
