Shame on New Orleans for not promoting these ladies. I grew up in New Orleans and if it hadn't been for Youtube, I would have never experienced their wonderful music. Thanks for posting.

From the Greek War Relief prgm in 1941, intro by Jack Benny. The banter with her referring to Jack as Bob (as in Hope) is because he was host and the other part of the prgm. Connee's velvety voice was never captured in better fidelity than it was here.. lovely!
