Simulation Cockpit

Here's the final version of my handmade cockpit.
Tubular frame with wheel, shifter, pedals, monitor, keyboard and mouse support.

Racing Seat: Sabelt Racer Duo

Wheel: Logitech G25 + Mod. Manu-Factory RSW 20 Shift Lighter

Software: rFactor mod. F3 Euroseries at Zandvoort

Audio: Creative Inspire T6100 5.1 Surround

TO EVERYBODY ON THE GLOVES QUESTION: Gloves are needed mostly to prevent the wheel to ruin with hands sweating. The one is a real Alcantara leather wheel, and so using it without gloves would obviously ruin it faster!

Second reason is that with gloves you have much more grip on the wheel, preventing losing it in a "fast control maneuver", for example.

Third reason, really personal, is that as I drive in real racing with gloves (of course), and want to have the same feedback on sim. Really simple

I have the same set up, only instead of a gear stick I have a bottle of Jack daniels in my right hand. Ha Ha, GLOVES ? WTF! We have a rally car and even then, I 've never worn gloves, Fail!

Forth reason, and main reason for me is horn skin. One can exactly see which horn skin on my hands is from driving Ricchard Burns rally.

What game are you playing? It looks like an F1 game, if so why are you using a gear stick and not the paddles?
