(8/21/2008) Enjoy it dudes. Because it's going to be the last! I'm not impressed by TSN playing this theme at all. I'll bitch about it until I don't feel like it anymore. It's just that, CBC has had that theme for how many decades exactly? It's like an invasion of privacy, then getting raped. It plays an important role before games start and to no longer see it on CBC is quite frankly, out of line. Then again, what can we do?
Note (7/22/2008) Sorry I'm late and by now we all know that this theme has been bought out by other TV stations so CBC is currently looking for a new theme. And it's gonna suck, only my opinion. It's been around for decades so to watch hockey on CBC w/o this theme is really not going to pump me up anymore. Oh well.
The ever so legendary theme that is played each and every time there is a game on CBC, which includes that part from Nickleback as well. Or perhaps Nickelback? Bah.

The Hockey Theme should be in the Public domain. Why did TSN have Simple Plan cover it. That blows. This exact arrangement on the CBC was Canadian hockey.

(Don't know what Yzermans doing there either)
