No it doesnt get you high,... THC isnt water soluble , thats why water is a good smoke filtration system, ... so basically you just drank horrible water so your friends could laugh at you. Well played, I generally try be the person laughing, not being laughed at, Note to anyone reading this, Dont drink the bong water, just make a nice yogurt/drink with some melted hash, or finally ground weed..

@dannman4209 Very true, It isn't the only compound that gets you buzzed, however the majority of the other compounds that we would be interested in for the purpose of getting stoned are for the most part very chemically similar to THC eg, THCV, CBD etc.. Most of which are so close to THC in nature that they also dont stay in the water. Obviously if the water smells and tastes rank something is left behind, but I dont snort ash from my ashtray niether.
