Montage of footage featuring highlights of a few of the adventures filmed by Thom Pollard of Eyes Open Productions. Clip is put together to show before presentations to answer the question "what do you do for a living?" This most certainly does NOT answer the question, because I'm a filmmaker. However, it shows a few of the places I have gone to make these films.
Clips featured include hurricane epic bivy on Denali's West Rib, the Viracocha 2 Reedship Expedition that sailed from Chile to Easter Island, a Right whale rescue off Cape Cod, caught in an avalanche on the Moose's Tooth in Alaska, as well as footage from Thom Pollard's National Geographic Channel stories, including orphaned orca, snowy owl, marbled salamander, Balti porters in Pakistan, Gasherbrum 2 climbing expedition in Pakistan, rescue of stranded porpoise, and more. All footage was filmed and edited by Thom Pollard.
Good stuff, Thom. Check your Filmmakers Workshop ning account, I left you a ccomment there.
