This study was written for Christy on Delcamp, around the use of legados, hammer-ons and pull-offs. It's a very jolly piece indeed.

  • Hello Ed,

I'm sure you pick up tablature very easily, but if you can figure this out by ear I'll be very impressed.

    Thanks friend.

  • Thank you for your kind offer. I'm embarrassed to admit this but I don't read tablature, nor music for guitar. I have only a rudimentary ability to read music from piano lessons when I was very young. I do everything by ear. I may give this piece a try, or the other that focuses on rubato and vibrato. Either way I will be challenging myself.

  • No classical training!!! I would have guessed many years worth! I'm a strummer trying to learn new techniques. Thanks for passing them along.

    Thanks, edster612. I admire Paul's technique. I meant that as a compliment!

  • Thank you very much stargate.

    Best wishes.

    Paul.

  • Hello Ed,

I have no classical training either, I've just figured it out by listening and watching decent players. If you want to try this piece I'd be happy to email you the score, it's in tablature too.

    Best wishes.

  • Hello Jeff,

  • Hello fano,

Yes, simple isn't exactly the right word, but I am deliberately keeping each piece grade 6 or below, this one I figure would be grade 5.

    Thanks for your comment.

    Best wishes.

    Paul
