  • G3= Guthie Govan w/ Guitar

  • Yeah! Great version of Sevens, despite the strange video-cut in the middle. Really enjoyed the chords and the vibe in the middle section and the improvisation at the end was really soulful, clever and melodic, like he was cherrypicking every note. Good stuff =)

  • 2 people think they can play better than Guthrie Govan ...lol !!!

  • This is like porn! Only better...

  • @TCFBbob He's on a diff amp ^^ It appears to have a more "metal" distortion, quite high gain it appears :)

  • @Kingding6 I second that. It's not a rare occurrence ;)

  • @TCFBbob might be hungover

  • @tastefulphrasing Yeah i notice hes playing them different because he might be a little "tired" of them............lol, i know i would be............!!!

  • He seems kind of sloppy in this video, less flawless, but then again I'm only 3 mins in

  • sick quality, thanks a lot!!

  • @moom50 Sevens

  • @tastytasters I think players like Howe, Martone, and Govan only use a damper to get rid of any posable overtones you get when tapping. Try and play that EbMaj7 arpeggio he taps without some sort of damper and you'll hear overtones conflicting with what you're playing, just listen to him in this video and you can hear it a little. He's a F#!@ing virtuoso, so he can mask it pretty damn good, but it's there. You're right though, no such thing as cheating on guitar, music is art not a sport.
