Ronald Reagan's son talks about guns, his dad and American freedom at the 2009 NRA Annual Meetings. One of the most successful conservative talk show hosts in America, Michael Reagan tells NRA members at the Celebration of American Values Leadership Forum in Phoenix, Arizona that this event is within miles of where his father purchased the Winchester double-barrel shotgun that Michael used to shoot his first limit of doves. The younger Reagan says he continues the hunting tradition that he shared with the former president with his son today. He also talks about the day Ronald Reagan was shot, reminding the audience that three of the four people who were shot that day did not call for gun control, and his father was one of them. Its interesting, Michael Reagan says, the crazies now are not carrying guns, theyre carrying legislation.
