@rumpole33 I've heard that she was. Michael Musto, a journalist with The Village Voice, said he was in a band back in Madonna's early days before she was a star. Musto's band shared a bill with Madonna's band, and she was so egotistical that Musto's band couldn't get into the dressing room they were sharing with her. He said, "I remember thinking to myself that this chick isn't going to go anywhere because she's too much of a bitch. She's going to piss too many people off. Clearly I was right."
