@brabon1 I agree... there needs to be a dvd reissue with the 1960 version and the 55 and 56 live broadcasts as bonus features. This is the first time I've ever seen clips of the live versions, and I love Kathleen Nolan as Wendy so much more even from just these little clips.
I don't care how people psychoanalzye this, it is one of the most charming musicals ever. I grew up and lived for the time it was broadcast. I wore the record out and still have it. I saw the revival in NYC w. Sandy Duncan, and though heartbroken that Cyril Richard died a few months before opening, was totally enthralled.

@februarystar27 i watched the 60 version every year when i was a kid. seems that the earlier versions are superior

@bkev93 The kids were not as annoying as Maureen Bailey's portrayal of Wendy.
Prevviously, she was "Chistmas Carol" in the J.L. Hudson Thanksgiving/Christmas Parade in Detroit.
