Turn up your volume, I recorded quietly to keep it from clipping.
Things I didn't mention: the tone on the guitar was maxed all the time, the amp and cab are stock (closed back), this was recorded at my room in college, favourite setting is around 1o' clock with a 2x12 cab.
It is absolutely one of the greatest amps for it's particular use. Breakup of the amp starts at 3/10, what you can call overdrive starts at noon. I didn't show the bridge pickup a lot, but it gets thicker the more gain you use. Of course this recording sounds not the way it would at your home because of youtube compression and laptopmicrophone that was designed for voice.
Everyone who plays from blues to rock should have a low wattage tube amp like this one for practicing. It's great.
This amp is for people who need a practice or recording amplifier, and play overdriven or gritty mostely, without the use of lots of effects that absolutely need to come after the OD. In which case you would need an amp with more headroom.
A 2x12 cab is recommended for nice air movement and added fullness.
I got it in musicstore.de in Köln, since I'm from europe. They had the wrong price, so I got it for only 2300€ new.
