Dancers Over 40's Men of Fosse winds down with the dancers talking about how polite Fosse was at auditions, and a spirited discussion ensues about when Fosse began to be more introspective in his movements -- was it How to Succeed? was it Carol Haney's influence, or Gwen's Jack Cole training that created the Fosse style we now know. Gene Gavin said, by the time of CHICAGO, Fosse's movements were so specific and tight that he almost forgot to move!
Brilliant - to hear dancers who "processed" Fosse talk about it is worth its weight in gold - It's not theory, it is reality. Thanks to Dancers Over 40 for bringing dance history to such vivid life.

Nope. He said he wasn't there! I wish we both had been in attendance!

Very insightful! Is that Jeff Shade's head in the foreground on the right? I love him!
