This shows from the Mexican side, the man-made mountain that was put in recently to continue the 150 ft. wide Border Patrol Corridor inside what used to be called Smuggler's Gulch but is now more like Smuggler's mountain. It also shows the flow of water from the Mexican side into the culvert as well as some erosion effects after the rains.

  • No!!! They will have to rename it "Redneck Fear Preserve."

  • Looks great, now they will have to rename it "Smuggler's Stopped!" No longer a playground of smugglers ferrying their illegal cargo with impunity into the United States. It will be a formidable deterrent to illegal immigration in this area. Similar fencing infractructure and berm building has already completely transformed the area between the San Ysidro and Otay POE's and produced near total operational control. 10 years of litigation and finally DHS and the citizens of San Diego have prevailed
