  • it's really cute that he takes a break after the fast pieces-- after le vent on this video, and after les collines on the other. smart dude.

  • 1:35 only Richter has the power and fiery temper to deliver this tornado of sound. Each chord is emphasized as if his life depended on it. Others lack the energy and forcefullness of Richter. He forces the sound into the audience and draws their attention to the music.
