Future by Design shares the life and far-reaching vision of Jacque Fresco, considered by many to be a modern day Da Vinci. Peer to Einstein and Buckminster Fuller, Jacque is a self-taught futurist who describes himself most often as a "generalist" or multi-disciplinarian -- a student of many inter-related fields. He is a prolific inventor, having spent his entire life (he is now in his mid-nineties) conceiving of and devising inventions on various scales which entail the use of innovative technology. As a futurist, Jacque is not only a conceptualist and a theoretician, but he is also an engineer and a designer.

I don't know if I would sya that the Resource Based Economy is the "main" concept. It's one of several. Jacque also believes that use of technology to aleviate pain is also a fundamental motivator.

No, he was going to do some work in Dubai. That segment was desinged as a part of a presentation to Dubai officials.

if we are to see this in the near future then, we have to evolve as species. Of course we already have the technology for such achievements or even greater. Unfortunately human beings lack the courage and intelligence to let go their ego, based on physical wealth is an illusion. This makes it impossible for us all humans to evolve in the positive way. Hopefully in the future we will all embrace the positive and evolve to see and experience the infinite.
