Stealing UPS Packages

April 2009 Customer Success Story Contest: Video Submission.

This customer knew it was time to install a security camera when thieves broke into their house one afternoon. The police had no leads. Within two months of installing the Wilife Camera, it recorded a theft on their property: The customer had ordered some packages from an on-line retailer. The UPS tracking service listed the items as delivered. He knew, however, that he had never received the packages. On the Wilife System, he reviewed the videos recorded on the exact date and time that UPS stated that they had delivered the packages. Within ten minutes of the UPS delivery, the camera captured a lady stealing them right off of their front porch.




The customer emailed the video to his local police department. Within one day, they were able to identify the suspect and later arrest her.

From this video, you can get height, weight, hair color, shoes, and description of clothes (Jacket is a pretty big thing because I doubt you wear several different jackets).
