Never forget listening to this amazing album for the first time on headphones. When i bought this original vinyl album. We were northern soul boys here in the UK experimenting with everything. Introduced a mate of mine to it who was all heavy rock and the Floyd until then. This sound kicked all their arses in Britain. Still love it. We are still soul guys, but we love these. Believe me we did some weird things in the 70s. Thanks for posting this all time classic....
Electric Cafe was largely digital and was released before 'The Mix'. The master was analogue, not the instrumentation. I actually thought EC was a pretty decent album, in the main.
It is the original from 74, i bought it.

Slightly pitched up by the sound of things.... good video though, my old digicam would only do a few minutes of video.

They went digital with the mix not with electric cafe!

Analogue synthesis and genius at its best. They lost it when they went digital with "electric cafe"
