Sotomayor's judicial decisions have been overturned by the Supreme Court over 60% of the time. How does that "qualify" her? If you did your job correctly only 40% of the time you'd need to be fired not promoted.

Ronald Reagan was elected President 30 yrs ago until Conservatives get this, they will be seen as out of touch with the 18-29 yr olds, they just seem like they are stuck in the 1980s.

I left the Republican party too not long ago. I am a Libertarian now and I can see how flawed some of my positions were before because I am not brainwashed by the mainstream media anymore. Until this country stops voting for the same corporate owned two party dictatorship, things will NEVER change in Washington.

@Triforce007 funny.
I don't see them saying they can make better decisions based on race.
But Sotomayor can...
and they are the racists... too funny

these two bigots and Reoublicans like them are the reason why i left the Republican party.

Over 20 million listeners a week. Fox News also has higher ratings then all the other news outlets combined :)
Your liberal news outlets are dying a fast death

I love how rush and hannity can gloss over the fact that we were lied to about Iraq having weapons for mass destruction when none were found. I thought these two idiots championed that cause as to why we were supposed to go to Iraq? $900 Billion and 4,700 troops later still no WMDs. i guess theyre mad General Powell hasn't stuck around to take the blame

@billoakesattablthree I thought Liberals want all minorites to succeed in their life no matter what political mind-set they come to in thier lives. So liberals are really hypocritical on race when it comes to blacks or hipanics who turned from thier liberal thinking and move to the right politically. Serving country is great(I served in the Navy) now I own my business and very successful. I choose not to partcipate in this recession because this country has given the black man a chance.

@billoakesattablthree So black conservatives or hispanics who come from humble beginnings are wrong? Please give the historical reason about Thomas. As a black conservative who also come from humble beginnings and use to be a democrat, why is it that dems can attack minority people who are conservative mind set but liberals come to the defense of someone of liberal thinking who come from the same background as the conservative minority? I better be ready to get attack by liberals.
-
fuck you
These two are trying to stir up the mindlessness of those who will listen to this bullshit. The reason why Thomas was objected to were very clear - anyone who reads or looks at the historical record will see the reasons. Look at who this lady is and her background then look at who these two are. It's literaly two bumbs trying to pull down someone who could have stepped into the most prestigious law firms and yet stayed to serve in the public sector i.e. Love of country.

If the reason Thomas was objected to was "very clear", then it would have been very easy for you to list the reasons.
You didn't even list one.

Her comment was not racist, all she said was that someone from one situation couldn't reach the same conclusion as one from another. She grew up in the projects in the Bronx, and tht is way different from wat the typical white judge expeirences during their lifetime. Now, I can understand that being a judge has to be unbiased, but you have to at east know each side of the story and understand why and what they did, which a person with a different upbringing wouldn't understand in certain situations

No white people ever grew up poor in the Bronx? Every white person is priviledged and every latina is poor?
She said she could come to BETTER decision because she is a latina. The textbook definition of racism: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.
Describes her comments perfectly.

Why is Rush talking about the Sotomayor possibly being Roe v. Wade? Is he trying to cast doubt in the minds of Democrats to hinder her nomination? I think its obvious she'll uphold Roe v. Wade, otherwise Obama wouldn't nominate her - he did interview her to get an idea of her views right?

Sotomayor says they didn't discuss it. Barack Obama says he didn't ask her about it. Do you think they're lying?
