-monies owed from the original quote have not been received by Sefco
-mones owed for any additional services rendered and have not been received by Sefco
-monies owed for any accessorial charges accrued and have not been received by Sefco
-monies owed for the additonal volume of the unit over what has been quoted not received by Sefco. Eg. Surveyors report on measuring the unit comes back that the dims. of the unit are bigger then what was originally quoted. It's important to note that Surveyors work independently of the SS Line and Terminal and they measure to the extreme on all units especially H/H units.
-monies owed for additonal charges by the SS Line from the original quote. Eg. The BAF-bunker fuel adjustment factor (surcharge) at the time of the quote is much lower then what the current price of fuel is currently trading at, when unit has finally loaded and sailed. These additional charges are noted in writing by the SS Line and sent back to Sefco. If this happens Sefco will note these increases on our Statement of Account and on a rated bill of lading breaking down all charges to you.
Our policy is that transparency is the best policy.
It's important to note that our charges for all documentation and handling remain fixed as noted on our documentation and handling schedule links.
