Redline Time Attack Practice Session1 Buttonwillow, Synapse R35 GTR, Doug Tabbutt (Driver)

Synapse Engineering and Switchcars.com brought out the GTR test vehicle to the Redline Time Attack season opener in Buttonwillow, CA to test and verify performance. With Doug Tabbutt as the driver, Synapse was able to demonstrate significant power gains over the stock package and outperform all GTRs in the field. This is a fast lap practice with Doug and also features Neo from NAGTROC who is also running some Synapse gear. Our testing of initial parts developed was successful and shows promise for future modifications. We are working with supplier partners to develop a very formidable competition track package. Customers will be able to order their R35 in a ready to compete configuration.

Yeah it was tough. I hate wind noise. I'm finally going to buckle down and get a wireless lavalier mic so that I can put the mic somewhere that wind won't get to it. I could have run music over it, but I don't think that anyone would have picked up any driving tips without hearing what was going on with the throttle.

Much better without the music.. music on videos is horrible. Did you get the mic yet? I'm selling an old (2 years old) Twenty20 onboard camera lense with an external mic if you're interested... it's standard definition, and you can tuck the mic away in the footwell or something... there's a video from it on my youtube page. I'll sell it to ya for like 60 bucks if ya want.

I like the car but the wind noise kills the cool factor for me. Good job Synapse for you work in adding performance mods to the R35 none the less. XD
