Edo Competition has come into the spotlight in a big way over the last few years, boosting the output (and image) of high-dollar luxury sports-exotics for their well-heeled cliental worldwide. Now, the tuner has turned its attention to Aston Martin's DBS - a car that we imagine leave very few people disappointed in stock form. The Edo DBS still uses the standard 5.9-liter V-12, but receives a revised engine computer, high-performance exhaust system (complete with muffler bypass valves), and special catalytic converters. As a result, power grows from 517 horsepower to 550, while the peak torque rises from 420 to 442 pound-feet. Edo says the DBS can now sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 4.1 seconds, and ultimately reach a top speed of 199 mph. Aston's chassis tuning is already stellar, so Edo doesn't have much to improve upon. The company simply added an adjustable sports suspension, allowing owners to dial in ride height, compression damping, and rebound damping to their tastes
