This is a video review of the Leatherman multi tool Surge and Charge tti. Both these items are the top end that Leatherman produces. Hopefully, it will give you enough info and insight into deciding which tool best fit your needs before you decide to buy one of these great multi tools. I believe this is the only video that specifically pits the Surge camo against the Charge tti (I was fortunate enough to own both, especially the limited edition Surge camo).

  • @ColinOutdoors...WOW!!! I'm honored that you like my video. I love to watch your video. Thanks for the comment. Yes, the mossy oak surge camo is very beautifully design. I'm glad I was able to get one since they are only made in limited number and only available over seas in Great Britain.

  • @n9las...You are right. Each Leatherman multitool has their unqiue advantages, and some more than others for specific needs. I all boils down to personal preference. For me the Surge is not that heavy as a EDC because I'm a big guy, and I like the feel of my tool to be strong and durable. The Charge is a good EDC for average people. Thanks for responding.

  • were can i get the sheath for the surge i hate the snap one that came with mine i cant use it

  • i just got a surge and am not sure whether i like it or not as it's alot larger and heavier in person.

  • Excellent review. I think I'm going to have to get a Surge to upgrade my Wave. I love the Wave, but the bigger scissors and the awl are really nice.

  • awesome video, ordering my Surge!!! ..... but,... maglite solitaire is not even close to be the perfect little flashlight :)

  • great

  • subbed. nice videos. thank you.

  • s30v isn't strong, it's hard which makes it brittle but, also makes it have better edge retention. it is also more difficult to resharpen.
