it takes a while to get back to opening your mouth as wide as you used to, id still say im not 100% ther yet but almost. talking is only hard first couple of weeks.its been 4 month now for me braces are out in 4 weeks and ill be posting a new video then as i look different now the swelling etc has gone down

hey! thanks for posting, im getting surgery done next year, still to get my braces getting them next month :) really loooking forward to it, i think i will make a video when i get my braces. Just a little question tho, when your teeth were wired together did you not panic when you woke up? x

hey, no at first mine were not fully wired tight shut they were slack elastic bands. once i fully came round they used tight elastic

did you loose any feeling in our upper lip? if so has it come back/ how long did it take to coem back??

nope i didnt loose any feeling in my upper lip, i was really lucky and didnt feel any real gr8 deal of numbness really. i think the only numbness i felt was the smallest of areas on my chin i mean like a dot, and that went in like 2 weeks. its a chance you take and different people will experiance different kinds of numbness.
