Lawn mowing with a trimmer

1985 Shindaiwa S-25 in tall grass. Using a shindaiwa 1.5hp trimmer to cut the yard. Note that even in thick grass, that whole section took only 9 minutes(90 seconds at 6X speed) in the video. Only used 1/8" of line off each string. The 3/4 acre lot usually takes 30-35 minutes to trim. Takes less time than with a push mower and then having to trim afterward.

Thanks! it is an awesome trimmer. With all the new emissions requirements, the days of light powerful trimmers are gone. We can sleep easy at night knowing that the extra money we now pay for less powerful, heavier equipment over the next 10 years will be able to offset the emissions on one of the 25 coal fired(old tech) power plants that go on line in china this year(to produce the heavy trimmers)! If we can just find a way to offset the other 250 plants they put up in that time frame.
