@bearflorian Thanks for the info, when I first saw this vid, I thought someone was aquaplaning as well, then I read the comments. In Australia an Airtractor is referred to most common Piper ag planes ... without floats, as the one at the start of the clip that takes off before this one, and it is easily assumed it is the other plane that looks like it is aquaplaning, not filling up. Again thanks for the info and not being rude about it.

only for your information: this firefighter pilot it's taken some training with his At-802F.
For other times, try to keep in silence if not are sure what are you watching on videos, and try to advise all information that are given to you on the video.

If what you say is correct.....then I sincerely retract my remarks regarding this video.Nevertheless,when I see videos of aircraft running their wheels over the water then I'm horrified at the senselessness of this type of stunt.

The aircraft in this video is an AT802 on Whipline 10000 amphibious floats. It is also known as a Fireboss. The wheels were securely tucked into the floats and the probes were down while he was scooping off of the lakes.
