A paddle wheel boat was crusing the fraser river on Canada day for a tour. There was no smoke coming from the exhuast stack, so it must have been running on a diesel motor.

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!

  • sound like MPV constitution for me, mpv stand for motor paddle vessel, another prefix for diesel driven ship are called mv or ms. if a ship using combined diesel and steam but diesel being use as main engine but also generating steam also use MV/MS prefix

  • @josephtan1818 Yeah, that makes sense, thanks.

  • There would still be smoke, even if she was running a Diesel engine. The exhaust would just be piped away from the "stack".
