Underwater robots that swim like fish and work together without someone remotely controlling them? While it seems like the premise for a movie, it's actually a project underway right now.

  • Reporters are just like movie/tv writers-- they know how to tell a story but they can't end a story. A pun at the end of a story is a cop out.

  • lol shes got a tache, and her geeky friend needs to wash his hair

  • COOL STUFF! that might be useful for some rescue situations or even environmental researches... it swims so swiftly

  • this wins. Reminds me of something in national geographic a while back

  • and hasbro would just use this as a toy with anime stuff to get rich...lol

  • 0.54 her tone of voice changed when she started to talk about the US military. She started to suggest that the military builds communities 'groups working together' and that the military has a widely accepted and unchallenged existence.

  • I actually find this technology quite fascinating.

  • Just the thought of autonomous swimming robots gives me the creeps. Wonder how small they can make them with cameras and other not so pleasant stuff to contemplate. On the other hand, maybe we could restock the over-fished oceans with robofish and feed them to our robotic vaccum cleaners and cars?
