Shadow Priest Guide 4.2 Rotation

This movie shows how to deal damage with a shadowpriest in PvE. This rotation, or rather priority list, is correct for 4.2. The movie consists of 3 parts:
- explaining shadowpriest spells
- a 4 minute training dummy dps session (20+k dps), starts at 3:30
- explaining how I aoe targets

Addons: ForteXorcist (dottimers), Quartz (castbar), PowerAuras (icons and orbs), Raven (timers on bars), TidyPlates (nameplates)

My current opener is :
dps potion - SW:P - fiend - MF - MF(2 ticks) - MB - VT - DP - AA - MF - MF.
The idea is that by the time I use Mind Blast I'll have an orb up (about 90% of the cases). When I'm applying my VT and DP I should have all int procs up, potion up, Empowered Shadows and 5 stacks of evangelism.
This is NOT the opening rotation you should use if you don't want to. There is NO concensus among sp's on what is the best opener, as long as you have a good reasoning for it.

If you mean ForteXorcist, why would you need to know what the name of the spell is ? Just give them different colors

You see when you cast a spell at the begining of the video and you say that when it goes past the line on the dot time, damage will be done, which addon is it to get those lines because I've got ForteXorcist and Quartz but they dont do it

@ROULERS1 Mark "Show Ticks", "Show cast time Glow" and unmark "Next Tick only" in ForteXorcist. Check the vid "Omirr's UI" on more tips UI related

The floating damage text addon is Mik's Scrolling Battle Text.

@bukupriest you're kidding right? Just rewind the vid and try to listen again. If that doesn't work, use my cast bar and dot timer to see what spells I'm casting. There isn't a fixed rotation that I'm doing. That's what video is for... To explain what you have to do ;-)
