wooden gun replicas

I saw sappet102's wooden smg and it inspired me to make the assault rifle from Halo out of wood, and I figured if I was gonna show that then I might as well show my other guns I made
and I also made some ammo out of wood, but I forgot to include it in the video

and sorry the little display on the assault rifle doesn't show up very well, but I was able to see it when I was filming

im wanting to make a wooden thompson and you seem to realy know how to make these look real. your guns are great! i was wondering if you could maybe help me with the wood. how long should it be how thick what width and what glue. also what paint :] please thanks! great vid

@wolfcookieo9 - as for the wood, wood glue, and paint, there's no certain type I used, just whatever I could find around the garage. the length of the M1 is 811mm, the M1921 - 830mm, and the M1928 - 852mm (and from that, you can use a picture to find out all the other dimensions)...and as for the thickness, I'd say if you can find a piece of wood about 2 to 2.5 inches thick, that should work for the thickest parts of the weapon.
