E46 BMW M3 SCCA T2 'Great Save'

Towards the end of the race after holding my position we had the gearbox malfunction. I forced it to go into gear and made it go two gears too low... instant spin. Somehow I saved the car/my life missing the wall and in it to the grass. The tire marks are literally 2 inches from the wall.

I think I would have burned this video James! Close call, I am glad you missed all of the cars just behind you, would have hate to fab another cage in another car. LOL!! Everybody needs to do that at least once!

my last E36 M3 i somehow moneyshifted into first at 65, from a 4th to (what was supposed to be 3rd) Luckily I threw the clutch down quick enough before real damage was done. Hopefully I don't do this to my E46 ever!
