6 Mile Bike Commute in 6 Minutes

Experimenting with a handlebar camera mount on my Specialized Allez Sport Compact Double. This is one route I take to work when commuting via Bike. (Yes, the video is sped up, didn't think people would want to watch my commute in real time) This is shot with a Flip Cam mounted to my handlebars via a clamp "tripod".

Nice Video, that dedicated cycle lane type road thing towards the end looks awesome, never really seen anything like it here the UK. Whereabouts exactly are you filming?

It must be great living in such a cycling friendly city. Bike lanes everywhere and what appears to be an extensive network of bike paths. Where is this?

You don't need to look hard to see it's sped up, but just look at the car turning left at 2:16.
Why not just play it at normal speed instead of trying to make stuff up. Odd!

mmk considering you have a allez sport compact. im guessing you new to road cycling. and i belive any new road cyclers can't go that fast for the first few seasons.. nice try.. oh and btw whats the software you used to speed this vid up.

Takes 15-20 minutes depending on the route I take and traffic light timing. Good luck!

do you get to work sweaty?? that's the only thing that bothers me when i used my bike to get to work.

We have showers available, show I take care of that when I arrive.
