THE SWIMMIN' HOLE

This is our pool, which has been a grand feature of the city for over 80 years. Lakeside has produced many world class competitors in both swimming and diving. Okay, okay, I was not one of them.

We know well that Lakeside, with all it offers for people of all ages, is so much more than just... a swimmin' hole.'

Selected music: "Barracuda", "Fire", "Puffin' Billy" but probably better known in the states as the theme to "Captain Kangaroo" and finally the "L.A. Law" tv show theme.

Fun idea, but I'd be worried about the chlorine. Do you have a dog, and if so, did he/she go for a swim?

The first was an alternative to Jaws,

Jimi Hendrix was just about all I had downloaded at the time,

Captain Kangaroo because of the part the place has played in the summers of soooo many kids,

the "L.A. Law" theme was because I was thinking I would get sued for any shots of recognizable people. LOL!

You don't but if it can't it becomes very obvious.

I have actually seen that chickens will swim if they have to... AND I saw a cat go for a swim, but I still think it was done with mirrors. LOL!

Cool Pool! I also happen to be a professional pet stylist...aka a "dog groomer" so I can appreciate the dog swim..
