@OlderG0ds i understand it probably does have a crap load of protection but i mean name one plane that flies between 30000- 40000 feet that could survive the nuclear shockwave from directly below? And again 747s are tough but even air force is probable not that tough.

Air Force One probably has no more protection than any other AF combat aircraft against nuclear blast; however, its electronics have been (quite expensively) shielded against EMP.

dont know bout the nuclear blast deal 747s are tough but not that tough and wheres the extra protection for the 747 it looks like a regular jumbo-jet :/
