I AM one of Gino's "real" fans from the early 70s. He can do whatever the heck he wants if he can sound like he does with Michiel. Live your life and let Gino live his. Besides, Jazz is a big fat slice of Americana---one we created--not the Europeans. However, they certainly know a thing or two about good music------can they help it if they have good taste?

I am glad Gino reinvented himself and that he has found his musical soulmate Michiel. Their new versions of Gino's compositions result, to my taste, in very strong and convincing music!
