Cyla spoils her Cockatiels pt 2

EDIT: I went to the vet yesterday and learned some interesting things. The main thing was to correct my birds diet. While it has lots of pellets in it, the vet said my birds skin and feathers could improve if I put them on an all pellet diet. As of now they are on a vitamin routine and I'm slowly converting them to an all pellet diet (with snacks weekly of course). If you have cockatiels I suggest you do the same.


I decide to do a video on how I take care of my cockatiels and tips/tricks/whatever on taking care of yours properly. If you have any questions about cockatiels or how I raise mine, do ask me.

i jst got a cockatiel bt it is scared of my hand i put him in his cage and he dropped a perch so i tryed to put it back on and he began to scream and run away from my hand i was wondering if yuh can give me any advice of how to tamed him (it's a male) and calm it down so it wont be scared of my hand

@frisco448 Food helps. Birds always like millet. You can buy it anywhere like WalMart. Hold it on the end of the spray and keep it there until the bird comes up. Over time slowly decrease the distance between you and the bird until you can have the bird eating our of your hand.

which one do you tink are friendlier males or females?

Both are equally friendly. Females tend to be more on the quiet, snugly side and males tend to be more vocal and active - that doesn't mean there isn't vocal females or quiet males.
