i saw some pics from the 80s with people using them. guess they were popular back then

well they were introduced in '95, but yeah they were pretty popular. Alot of famous drummers used premier- keith moon from the who, mitch mitchell from hendrix, brad wilk from Rage against the machine etc

premier is a great kit, but like ludwig, gretsh, rogers, arent very popular these days. Iron Maiden drummer use premier, and Jimmy Hendrix Experience drummer also use premier.
