  • No, she did mean putting it in the oven. You put it in the freezer, then in the oven for exactly 5 minutes! =D

  • if you get the meringue mixture wrong, it never sets - if you use ice cream that's too soft, it melts almost instantly in the oven...

    preparation makes it awesomely easy - not knowing beforehand can make it into a big tray of gloop

  • @jhoma23 it looks like all she did was take cake , cut it to fit the bottom of the plate, pour the ice cream in a bowl to get the dome shape, and make the topping dead last.
